PHEW! What a whirlwind past few weeks getting the kids settled into school. Much to my surprise, school photos are a lot sooner than they were last year, and it got me thinking. Being a photographer, I never purchase the photos – mostly because last year I noticed my daughters profile on the left AND right side, only the right side wasn’t her right, it was her left. Which only means that they took one photo and mirrored it in photoshop. Since she has a defining feature on one side, I instantly knew that they did this and it was just off for me. Needless to say, I just took her out and shot her for 10 minutes and voila! A beautiful image for us to hang and hand out to our family.
That got me thinking HOW MANY OTHER PARENTS FEEL THIS WAY ABOUT THEIR CHILDREN(S) PHOTOS? This is why this year I am running a special through September only – bring me your school order form, or a copy of it, and I will honor those prices for a 15 minute shoot with your son or daughter. That’s it. No sitting fee, and YOU get to choose the image that you hang up and pass out to your family. There is a catchYou get to choose from 1 of 3 places and it will be an individual image of your son/daughter. No siblings or family. However, if you are going to pay for the school photos, why not get them outside with a beautiful background and awesome light, rather than on a neon green background that doesn’t even match the outfit?!?!?
