John and Sara got married on a BEAUTIFUL summer day, a week after the horrible weather hit Denver.  It stayed dry, sunny and well, who needs sun when you have a rockin reception! :)

We started off the day early at the salon – because you know, everyon’s gotta look their best!

Some needed a jump start -

Look at all these hair pins!! I wonder how long it took her to un-do her do up..

This cutie received this personalized bag as a flower girl gift – do you know how much stuff a 4 year old can pack into a pretty bag?!?! (only those of you wiht 4 and 5yo girls will actually be able to understand the amount of stuff in there)

After getting beautiful, we returned to Sara’s house where there were make up artists waiting for us!

This is another favorite of mine – this lovely Jr. Bridesmaid sat near the makeup and just watched everyone get ready. It was sooo cute!

We then headed to the church…

We promptly left for the church, all went smoothly and then we were off to the reception. Sara and John, it was a privilage to be able to photograph your wedding. I truly had a wonderful time and let’s end with some rockin double dutch dancin!!!

For those of you who quite cannot picture this (invisible double dutch dancing), I have made an illustration to better convey this absolutely FUN dancing move!! The photo below will help you imagine the following photos to come…

John, since I am moving right now you get the shaft. Don’t worry, I will post some of you and the boys tomorrow!!

Then join us for a networking event on Monday, July 13th at  Seven Cups Tea House. Spaces are limited, so please call in advance to reserve your time for a headshot or three ;) Take a peek and come on down if you’re interested.

I hope that you are having a wonderful summer. We are transients this summer – having sold our condo and waiting for our new home to be built, we are living out of every family member’s home :) So, the other night we took a break to have some fun time out front with our neighbors. It was right after a rain storm (and a very bad one at that! I am positive that the lightning was directly above our house!), towards sunset so the light was sweet, and it was just the perfect moment.

I hope that you and your families are having those ‘perfect moments’ this summer!
